Bruce Noe, DVM
Dr. Bruce Noe is originally from Kansas and graduated from Kansas State University in 1988. Before opening Noe's Ark in 1991, Dr Noe practiced in Mesa. Dr. Noe resides in Gilbert with his wife Michelle, a Special Education Instructor. Their family includes three children, two dogs, two turtles and a Quaker parrot. He is a very kind and gentle Doctor with excellent Veterinary skills, uncanny diagnostic abilities and a superb knowledge of animals.
Dennis Phillip, DVM
Dr. Dennis Phillip in originally from Montana. After graduating from veterinary school at Colorado State University, Dr. Phillip joined our staff at Noe's Ark in June of 2001. Dr. Phillip resides in Gilbert with his wife, Christina who is also a Veterinarian and their daughters Sarah and Taylor. Their four legged family members include their dogs "Gracie" and "Winky". Dr. Phillip brings a wonderful toolbox of extensive Veterinary knowledge, diagnostic abilities and a genuine love of animals that adds greatly to our team.
Austin Taylor, Hospital Administrator
Austin worked at Noe's Ark starting in 2002 as a Kennel helper, and soon moved into working as a technician. He left Noe's Ark in 2006 to pursue a career that better coincided with his college schedule. He worked at a custom cabinet shop, learning the art of carpentry, and eventually was promoted to shop manager, overseeing scheduling and production. Ultimately, his love of animals and bond with their owners brought him back to Noe's Ark in 2012 as the hospital administrator. He married Alissa in 2007 and lives in Mesa with their 2 dogs and 3 cats.
Sandy Wertz, Vet Tech
Sandy was born in Alexandria Virginia, but grew up in Iowa. She moved to Arizona with her daughter in 1995 and became a veterinary technician in 1999. Sandy resides in Mesa with her 2 dogs and 2 cats and has been working at Noe's Ark since 2010.
Donna Shepherd, CVT and LVT
Donna was born and lived in Michigan until 2011. She graduated in 1997 from Macomb Community College with an Associate Degree in Veterinary Technology and received her LVT. She has worked in general practice, research, and exotic practices. She taught in the Veterinary Technology program for 5 years, and taught obedience for 5 years. She was married to her husband Jeff in 2008 and lives with her terrier mixes, Egan and Cupcake, Marty the miniature poodle, her two cats, Chaplin and Ripley, and Mumbles the Quaker Parakeet. Donna has a blackbelt in Karate, loves playing the guitar, reading and being healthy.
