Dr. Brown

My name is Dr. Cynthia Brown. I was born and raised in Tucson, where I decided to be a veterinarian at the age of three. I received my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona and then fulfilled my dream when I earned my veterinary degree from Colorado State University. I did a 1-year internship at a Mesa veterinary hospital and began working at VCA McCormick Ranch Animal Hospital in 2003. I moved on to Bark Avenue Animal Hospital in 2018 and Noe’s Ark Animal Hospital in 2022. I got my certification in veterinary medical acupuncture in 2015, and animal chiropractic in 2018. My areas of interest include complementary medicine, surgery, chronic pain, feline medicine, and dermatology. My current pet is Stinky, a calico cat who was living in a parking lot before I rescued and brought her home. Outside of work, I love traveling, horses, gardening, growing orchids and playing the harp.
